CD40(21-193)-His
Description
Recombinant CD40 protein that includes amino acids 21-193 was expressed in HEK293 cells and contains a C-terminal His tag. CD40 is a Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member protein. It is a receptor for TNFSF5/CD40LG, which transduces TRAF6- and MAP3K8-mediated signals that activate ERK in macrophages and B cells, leading to induction of immunoglobulin secretion.
